MISSION STATEMENT

The Compassionate Friends is a mutual assistance self help organization offering friendship and understanding to bereaved parents and siblings.

The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.

The secondary purpose is to provide information and education about bereaved parents and siblings. The objective is to help those in their community, including family, friends, co-workers and professionals, to be supportive.

No religious creed or affiliation is involved. There are no dues, and no one is required to talk at meetings. You are welcome to come and listen.

The compassionate Friends, Lehigh Valley Chapter, meets the second monday of each month  at Sacred Heart Hospital, 2nd Floor Conference Area, 4th & Chew Streets Allentown.  Parking Passes for the parking decks available at the meeting.
